A recent Forbes article called Iowa one of the best places to travel in the U.S. after COVID-19. With a great increase in road trips and RV trips this summer, the article encourages travelers to consider places they wouldn't normally travel to such as Iowa's great variety of hidden gems.
The Joys of Travel author Thomas Swick recommends a visit to Iowa, saying that our state is "especially rich in memorable Americana." He mentions unique treasures such as the National Hobo Museum and Cemetery in Britt, the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake and the Field of Dreams in Dyersville as amazing places to see.
